About The Author

Randy Daudlin has been working in the film and television industry as a professional Make-up Artist for over 26 years. As an instructor, he has taught at both colleges and private institutions. Expanding his skills into writing and directing, for both feature films and television, his experience has served him well. Throughout his ever evolving career he has had the opportunity to meet many gifted artists and felt an obligation to share his knowledge. At his wife's prompting, the Make-up Artist next turned author with the publishing of Hurt 'Em Reel Good—a Quick Reference for Out of Kit Make-up Effects, and has since released his second book Reel Characters—a Quick Reference for Creating Out Of Kit Feature Quality Character Make-up.
